This series consists of press copies of letters which concern the construction and maintenance of school facilities, requisition of equipment and supplies, terminations and transfers of employees, and recruitment of children for the school. Also included are copies of letters sent to students, former students, parents of students, governors of pueblos, individual Indians, agency employees, territorial officials, private persons, and others. There are also copies of letters sent to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Of particular note, one volume contains two maps of the school. Several volumes contain an occasional letter written in Spanish. These letters are not accompanied by an English translation. There are also letters concerning the proposed Pajarito National Park which involved land belonging to Pueblo Indians.
